Aishwarya Rai has recently wrapped up KriArj
Entertainment’s Fanne Khan, looks of which have been taking social media
by storm.
Now, Ash has been signed on for another film under the
same production house.
Says a source, “The film is a bold thriller to be
directed by Siddarth Anand who has helmed Salaam Namaste (2005), Bachna Ae
Haseeno (2008) and Bang Bang! (2014) among others in the past. She has given
her consent and modalities are currently being worked out.”
The untitled thriller is going to be Aishwarya’s third
collaboration with KriArj, after Fanne Khan and Raat Aur Din remake.
To talk of the remake of Feroz Khan, Nargis and Pradeep
Kumar 1967 hit, Ash will recreate Nargis’s role of a woman suffering from
multiple disorder.
SpotboyE.com had exclusively told you that the makers
have actively begun hunting for the two heroes who will step into the shows of
(Late) Feroz Khan and (Late) Pradeep Kumar in the venture.
We had also scooped out the information that Abbas-Mustan
will direct the remake.
The duo had a wonderful script for the remake which caught KriArj head honchos
Prernaa Arora and Arjun Kapoor's eye and made them bring them on board.
Raat Aur Din Poster
In an interview to a leading daily, Prernaa had revealed
that the Raat Aur Din remake is currently in the planning stage. “It will be
homage to Nargisji and is a special project for all of us. Aishwarya has
already said that she would love to play the main role. I have also discussed
the project with Sanjay sir (Dutt), and he has approved of the idea and our
choice of Ash to play the role originally essayed by his late actress-mother.”
